Current COVID – 19 Status from the Resort
We are so appreciative of our valued guests and wanted to take a moment to explain what you can expect, given the current situation with COVID-19.
We are continuing to follow the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), and state/county health department recommendations regarding COVID-19, including guidelines for cleaning and sanitation. We are maintaining our enhanced cleaning processes and working with vendor and industry partners to ensure compliance with any changes in protocols.
The Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners has rescinded the mask mandate following Florida’s Governor’s Order. passed an emergency ordinance requiring that citizens wear face coverings in most indoor public places, and restaurants and bars to implement new safety and anti-crowding measures.
Masks are now optional for Tradewinds' employees. While no longer required for guests, we kindly ask that guests consider doing the same when in doors and where social distancing isn’t possible.
Tradewinds will also continue to enforce strict cleanliness protocols including the use of Electrostatic Spraying Technology which uses the highest classification of disinfectants and sprays entire areas including rooms, lobby, fitness centers, dining venues, etc. Hand sanitizer dispensers will also continue to be accessible at key guest and employee entrances.
Social distancing will also be encouraged in indoor settings, like the check-in process.
Our Housekeeping staff will limit the amount of interaction in your guest room. “Express Service" will be offered daily, which include: trash pick-up, linen delivery and amenity replenishment. A full-service room cleaning will be available upon request every fourth day, for stays of 4 nights or more. In lieu of service - requests for amenities, towels and linens can be delivered to your door. If you prefer to have no contact in your guest room, simply apply your Do Not Disturb sign on your door.
